Peter Harrington is the UK's leading rare book seller and through Peter Harrington Gallery also sell rare contemporary prints, photographs, original artwork and maps. It has two shops, one on the Fulham Road, Chelsea and the other in Dover Street, Mayfair. In March 2015 Peter Harrington appointed Silks PR & Marketing to manage its PR and to help with its Marketing.

Regular press releases on new book catalogues and on interesting new book and art acquisitions were issued. Press contacts and selected private contacts were invited to the Private Views organised throughout the year. 

This resulted in much publicity including:

• articles in the national press and national magazines including the Daily Telegraph, Guardian, Times, FT, Independent, Spectator, Homes and Antiques, NME, etc;
• articles in specialist magazines such as Antique Collecting, Antiques and Fairs, etc;
• articles in regional magazines including Town & Country, The London Magazine, etc;
• radio and TV interviews.

We also arranged for journalists to interview Pom Harrington, the owner of Peter Harrington and this has resulted in:

• a full page article in the British Airways magazine High Life;
• a couple of pages in Emirates Open Skies magazine;
• radio interviews;
• an interview in Country & Town House magazine;
• an interview in Antique Collecting.

We were also employed by Peter Harrington in 2011 to publicise The Winnie the Pooh Collection it was selling. 

This resulted in a front two page article in the Saturday Telegraph, numerous mentions in local press and specialist book magazines and on relevant websites plus the BBC ran a story on the regional news about Peter Harrington and the Collection.
