Sarah’s background is in marketing and she has spent over 25 years working in the travel industry.
She holds an MBA in Marketing and was a Product Manager at Thomson Holidays, a Marketing Director at WEXAS Travel Club and a Marketing Consultant at Sandals Caribbean Hotels.
She now works for a number of smaller travel companies helping them produce readers’ offers which appear regularly in the Times.
Seven years ago Sarah and Katie Barkshire combined their skills and formed Silks PR & Marketing.
Together they have worked for a number of diverse lifestyle companies as well as founding The Directory for Thomas's London Day Schools which successfully promotes over 100 businesses in an annual publication and online.
