Rare Book Fair London

Firsts, London’s Rare Book Fair, presented by the Antiquarian Booksellers’ Association (ABA), has announced that Biblio, international online rare bookseller, is the NEW Official Fair Partner and Shakespeare’s Globe is the 2019 Charity Partner.

Firsts London (formally known as the ABA Rare Book Fair, London) is the ABA’s annual flagship event and the world’s largest independent marketplace for rare and out-of-print books and will hold its 62nd Fair with more than 150 exhibitors from around the world from 7th – 9th June in Battersea Park near Battersea Power Station’s new vibrant community development.

Pom Harrington, Chairman of Firsts London says, “In the year which sees Shakespeare’s Globe celebrate the centenary of the birth of pioneering and acclaimed actor Sam Wanamaker whose passion led to the rebuilding of the iconic theatre and the 400th anniversary of the death of the famous Globe actor Richard Burbage, we are excited to be staging an exhibition at the Fair of highlights from the Globe offering visitors an unrivalled chance to see editions which are not normally on show.”

Brendan Sherar, Founder & CEO of Biblio: “We’re looking forward to strengthening our relationships with our existing British booksellers, meeting potential new clients and having an opportunity to listen and understand the unique challenges facing booksellers and book collectors here.”

In Febrarury 2018 the ABA appointed Silks PR & Marketing to handle the PR for the London Book Fair.
